Filming has officially started! I recorded some clips for my music video this weekend. I wanted to record the "singer" singing the whole song just sitting down at a studio to use some of those clips along the final edit.

The location was at a studio that had a black screen which was perfect for the idea that I had.

For equipment I used my own camera, a Canon 6D MarkII, a tripod and two studio lights. Furthermore, for the props we only used a microphone in order to show she is in a studio.

Getting the perfect lighting was by far the most challenging thing to do, I had to play around with where to place the lights and also had to be aware of the natural light that came through the windows in order to keep the same lighting throughout the whole clip. To make sure I had more than one clip to choose for my final edit which one I like the most, I filmed the whole thing approximately ten times from three different shots in order to have a choice when it comes to edit.

Here goes a short clip of the whole filming process!
